HYDRODEMOLITION - EHD
It is used on concrete rehabilitation works to remove poor quality concrete and replace one of better quality on structures, bridges, pavements, etc...
The use of the water pressure is more advantageous than the noisy pneumatic hammers, not damaging the steel rods of the reinforced concrete.
Security of the worker, because it is away from the work zone.
Great productivity due to the revolving movement of the nozzle and its displacement on automatic swing to wide work, up to 2 meters.
Possibility of assembly on different vehicle types.
2 types of different motorizations are offered. Pneumatic or hydraulic.

DESCRIPTION
The device consists of a chassis where rotating heads slide sideways in transversal movement. It must be mounted on a tractor type vehicle so that the water can be jetted in a length wise direction removing concrete from the desired surface.
The equipment can be provided in pneumatic or in an hydraulic version. A gear box motor turns the head. It's possible to change the rotation speed by adjusting the air/oil flow of the motor. We recommended a rotation speed between 120 to 600 rpm according to the concrete hardness. It jets out at an angle of 15° and rotates in 75 mm circles approximately.
So that it removes concrete at different depths it's necessary that the water is fired several times on the same zone. The sets of rotating heads are mounted on a plate with wheels ensuring overlapping surface cleaning. The wheels go between 2 bars allowing a swinging movement by means of a pneumatic or hydraulic gearbox, sprocket and chain mechanisms.
The chain is joined to the back part of the plate. Although the motor turns one way a sliding mechanism causes the rotating head to move automatically alternating from one side to the other. This sliding movement or hub can be modified from (0,6 m to 1,8 m) by changing the position of the driving sprocket before starting. The sliding movement can be from 2 to 15 cycles a minute depending on your needs.
Efficiency will depend on concrete hardness but performance can start from 0.5 to 1.5 m3/h with 170 l/min at 1.400 bar pressure.
